The issue that matters to me most right now is Global Warming. I first learned about global warming in my humanities class where I learned about the melting of polar ice caps and glaciers due to rising temperatures on earth. I have also learned that using more sustainable practices such as solar, wind, and hydroelectric power can greatly reduce the amount of pollution that is produced in our environment. I'm really inspired by the youth who despite their age accomplished a lot to help other and contribute to the positive change and development in our world. I'm also inspired by all the people that strongly fight for their causes especially for peace and a better world like Ghandi, Mandela and the 14th Dalai Lama.

Youth involvement in community development and social change. I became aware of it at an early stage in life and what currently impresses me the most is the Ministry of Youth Affairs incorporating the ideas of a 13 year old Kenyan, Trevor Langat kibet in the budget speech. This shows that youth ideas are no longer being shunned and that our leaders are moving in the right direction in appreciating what youngsters have to offer. ( leer más)
